Acids - Pickling - Passivation

FlexCoating, a specialist of acids, pickling and passivation of steel

We have pickling baths for treating carbon steel and stainless steel (SS). After the bath, the material is rinsed under high pressure and dried hot. We passivate the material unless the desire is otherwise. Finally, the material is capped.

A final inspection takes place and, if desired, we provide a certificate and/or material is packaged separately. If it appears that the material is heavily soiled, we first blast the material in our blasting cabinet. To determine whether this is necessary, we need to see the material. This will always take place in consultation with the customer.

 

Our full baths have the following dimensions:

Pickling bath carbon steel: 6 meters long, 2.50 meters wide and 1.50 deep

Pickling bath stainless steel: 7.00 meters long, 0.70 meters wide and 0.70 deep

'Normal' passivation: 8 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 0.15 deep

Manganese passivation: 1.50 long, 1.50 meters wide and 0.30 deep
