Graphite Packing Ring
FlexInd BV has a wide range of graphite gaskets / graphite plates in stock in various thicknesses (1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm thickness).
These graphite plates are excellent heat resistant. Due to the steel inlay also excellent to use under pressure (200 bar continuous). By means of our CNC cutting machine these can be processed into graphite gasket or seal to your size.
Graphite gaskets, also known as exhaust gaskets, can be cut very quickly in any shape and size. Both standard sizes and specific exhaust gaskets that we can copy using Autocad, can therefore be quickly and accurately copied by us.

Material: Expanded natural graphite (>99% graphite purity), stainless steel insert plate (AISI 316; 0.1 mm)
Working pressure: 130 bar.
Application: General purpose, drinking water, steam, gas, chemical, food, compressor & pump applications.
Temperature range : -200 °C +700 °C (-328 °F +1292 °F)
Graphite plate
Reinforced with perforated plate thickness 0.1 mm (material: AISI 316), which increases the resistance to overpressure on the flange and the resistance to blow-out. Suitable for medium and higher pressures.
Available sheet thicknesses: 0.5 - 1.0 - 1.5 - 2.0 - 3.0 mm Sheet dimensions: 1000 x 1000 mm; 1500 x 1500 mm on request
Temperature range in oxidizing atmosphere : -200 to +450 ºC
Maximum working pressure: up to 120 bar
Compressibility (ASTM F 36 A): 28 - 42
Rotary suspension (ASTM F 36 A): 13 - 19
Film specific gravity: 1.0 ± 5 % g/cm³
Graphite content: > 99
Sulphur content: < 750 ppm
Leachable chloride content: < 40 ppm
