The insert is usually made of TESNIT BA or Grafilit gasket material.
The standard metal jacket is formed with an austenitic stainless steel sheet with a thickness of 0.15 mm - 0.2 mm U-shaped and pressed to become a single body with a base seal. The good formability of the austenitic stainless steel gives the jacket excellent mechanical properties and resistance to erosion, while the known resistance to heat and corrosion ensures a long service life of the seal.
